Yesterday we were priveledged enough to have Sam Soliman, Sam Columban, Daniel Iannazzo and former world champion Barry Michaels, throw their weight behind Knives Scar Lives – the anti-knife campaign.
It was such a great day with three launches around Melbourne at various boxing gyms. And man, are they fit!
The message they wanted to share was that the easiest way to stay out of trouble, is to walk-away. They are encouraging people to get in to sport and to walk away from violence.

Just found out that BEAT MAGAZINE , BEAT.COM.AU and BEAT TV are supporting the LIVE NO FEAR project. Over the coming weeks there will be lots of info and interviews about the song, the video and The Real Truth crew who put it together. Its good to hear about the project on this website and see what other people think and the focus in BEATshould get more people talking about it . The message is getting out there
It’s Friday morning and we’re sitting under a tent by the river in Yarraville. Lots of cameras and strange technology – feels just like a real movie set. Half of us have been whisked off with Sullivan to film gang scenes in the park nearby leaving us with the coffee machine and a heater…. life is good. They reckon filming is made up of 90% waiting around for your part and 10% shooting. Not minding the 90% at the moment!

Yesterday was such a great day, with everyone working together on the short film project. It was an awesome day and the scripts that came out of it are amazing. Can’t wait to start filming on Friday with everyone, including Sullivan Stapleton!
